Who We Are...

WE ARE FORERUNNERS.

For over 40 years we’ve been innovating the fire protection, life safety, and security engineering profession, shaping standards, offering expertise, and changing the industry. We collaborated in writing the 2011 national standard, Integrated Systems Testing of Fire Protection and Life Safety Systems (CAN/ULC S1001-11), with the requirement of an Integrated Testing Coordinator (ITC) to oversee commissioning.

WE ARE EXACTING.

We are aware and understand the codes that impact our client’s inside out, and we not only ensure that existing facilities are compliant, but we also custom design our systems for each client’s needs. In addition, we are specific to the letter on every aspect of our drawings and specifications, stipulating everything exactly, leaving nothing to chance.

WE ARE RETICENT.

Confidentiality is our modus operandi. Because we design life safety and security systems for secure clients, we have clearance to work on classified projects (which is difficult to obtain), and we’ve continually proven our trustworthiness and expertise.

WE ARE DIPLOMATIC.

We understand the complexities of designing, engineering, and constructing safe structures and we take a diplomatic approach to liaising with owners, contractors, architects, consultants, and engineers that prioritizes service, excellence, and the end goal while also strengthening relationships.

WE ARE RESOLUTE.

As experts in our field, we are confident in our ability to deliver, secure, and protect facilities flawlessly. Because we’ve written codes, written the software, and programmed the systems, we’re intimately familiar with every aspect of what we do. As such, we lead our projects by establishing parameters and expectations and overseeing execution.

WE ARE AGILE.

No facility or environment is the same; each requires custom life safety, fire protection, and security systems suited to the client’s needs. That said, we work closely with our clients to understand their unique requirements and custom design their systems accordingly.
