Umbra is an industry pioneer devoted to perfecting fire and life safety codes, even participating in collaboratively writing the 2011 national standard, Integrated Systems Testing of Fire Protection and Life Safety Systems (CAN/ULC S1001-11), which includes the requirement of an Integrated Testing Coordinator (ITC) to oversee commissioning.
